The Cart
The Cart is my wife’s place.
Like many other expat workers I order my lunch there everyday and it’s delivered to my desk. I love the place and was a frequent customer even before my wife and I got together.
They do some great sandwiches including some very imaginative specials not to mention fabulous pies and pasties and great cakes and coffees. In the winter they do beautiful fresh hot soups and in the summer there are salads on the menu.
We have our ups and downs and like every business in Hanoi we’re at the mercy of the New Hanoian, plenty of good reviews, some not so good which we try to learn from and some that just anger and upset staff in near equal measures. However there’s enough people who return time and time and time and time and time again for us to know that we must be getting something right.
