When is it okay to stare?

It’s okay to stare when someone is embarrassed.

It’s okay to stare if someone is new. It’s okay to stare if someone is generally wronged or even hurt. In extreme cases it’s actually okay to point and loudly discuss what you’re looking at. You may even film it on your phone. In such incidences you are entirely invisible so you can stare without fear of reprisals or concern for the wronged party.

It is NOT okay to stare when someone is behaving badly. Or when someone is abusing their power. In cases of selfish or even dangerous actions of an individual you must not look, not even for a second. You must not look even if your vehicle is hit by another.  Motorbikes coming together is not a reason for even the slightest glance at the other crashee. Though faces may only be a metre apart you must continue to look away at all times.

If you don’t look away, even for a second, then your stare could get noticed and terrible terrible things could happen.
