Ah! That’s the exact kind of thing I was stuck behind when I saw my first Vietnamese traffic casualty!
One of the bags jolted off when the bike bounced through a pothole, exploded and sent the fish flying. Poor thing.
What a great photo! I’m still amazed by how many different things can be transported on a small motorbike or moped in Vietnam. But goldfish is one thing I missed. Can’t wait to go back. I think we’re going to try and get there sometime next year. Not surprising that you wanted to return… It’s a fascinating country in all respects.

Love the photo. I have been in Hanoi for 6 months now and have seen the fish guy quite a few times now – I have still not got the photo. never a dull moment in Hanoi’s traffic.
